Privacy policy
This page describes the technical processing operated by Open Urbanism Foundation. Each project owner remains responsible for its content, purposes and invited participants.
Data processed
- Contributions: photo or composition, comment, optional questionnaire answers, and pseudonym.
- Location: coordinates selected or obtained with your permission. Full precision is stored to position the contribution; the displayed address may be approximate.
- Administration: email address, role, projects and sessions required for passwordless sign-in.
- Security: limited technical logs, request identifier, errors and anti-abuse controls.
Purposes and access
Data is used to prepare, publish and explore contributions in open data, manage projects, secure the service and resolve incidents. Contributions to a public project are publicly visible. Private spaces are limited to authorised people.
Hosting and map services
The application and its active database are hosted in Switzerland. Maps and address search may contact OpenStreetMap, EOX or Nominatim providers; their service then receives the IP address and technical request.
Retention and rights
The declared contribution review deadline is 365 days. This setting does not delete anything automatically: the project owner must document and apply any retention, archive or deletion required for that consultation. You may request access, correction, export, objection or deletion.
